15 Weeks

Total Weight Gain: Not really sure. Maybe 2-3 pounds.

Maternity Clothes: Nope, definitely don't need these yet.

Sleep: Not sleeping that well due to two factors: 1) crazy dreams; 2) getting up to pee 4-5 times/night.

Gender: TBA

Movement: I can't feel any yet, but all of our sonograms have showed a jumping, kicking squirming baby!

Food Cravings: Lemon-lime soda.

What I Miss: Coffee, lunch meat, and the occasional glass of wine.

What I'm Looking Forward To: Anatomy scan in exactly 3 weeks when we'll find out the gender of our baby!

Milestones: I'm quite sure this doesn't count but we took a trip to Babies r Us over the weekend. Let's just say I wasn't a fan.

Symptoms: Fatigue, sensitivity to smells, increased urination, increased appetite.

My IVF Stats

If you are reading my blog and have either undergone, are undergoing, or are thinking about undergoing IVF, you may be interested to hear what my stats are. So I'll lay them out for you:

  • 150 units Gonal-F (sub-q)
  • 75 units Menopur (sub-q)

  • prenatal vitamin
CD 9-11
  • 5 units Lupron (sub-q)
  • 37.5 units Gonal-F (sub-q)
  • 75 units Menopur (sub-q)
  • .5mg Dexamethosone (po)
  • 1 baby aspirin

  • prenatal vitamin
  • Crinone 8% 2x day

Very First Baby Picture

See these beauties? These are the three day-five blastocysts that we transferred during our second fresh IVF cycle. One of these little guys/gals became the baby that is growing inside me. Pretty amazing stuff.

The First Post

Hi! Welcome to the blog that will document our journey through pregnancy and beyond. We'd intended to start this sooner, but life got in the way. So here we are at 14 weeks, 6 days pregnant. We'll just pretend this is the beginning!
