24 Weeks

Today is a hugely important day. It's Viability Day for my baby girl. 50-60% of babies born at 24weeks survive. It feels good knowing that we have reached this milstone, even though I want my girl to stay in there and keep frowing for along, long time! Thankfully, there is absolutely no indication that she will be coming any time before her due date :)

Baby is now the size of a: papaya. It's her last week being papaya-sized!

Total Weight Gain: I haven't weighed myself in some time.

Maternity Clothes: I still don't own any official maternity clothes, but my mom bought be two cute summer dresses over the weekend!

Sleep: My hips have started to hurt me when I sleep, and the nightmares, unfortunately, continue.

Gender: Girl

Movement: Finally, finally I am both feeling and SEEING definite movement!!!

Food Cravings: Nothing specific in the last week.

What I Miss: Sleeping on my back and stomach.

What I'm looking forward to: Working on my girl's nursery closet this week!

Milestones: Besides V-Day, I am absolutely thrilled to report that I'm finally feeling my baby girl consistently and without a doubt. I actually SAW movement before I put two and two together and realized that it was her I was feeling! I was in my sitting room off the kitchen on Thursday night, chillin' with my cat, and suddenly my stomach looked like someone was punching (or kicking) it from the inside! Even Gil (the cat) noticed it! It was an awesome moment. Eric was aaway for the weekend, but last night I recorded some movement on my phone and sent it to him.

Symptoms: Fatigue, lots of movement, growing belly, lots of peeing :)
